Description
2 street parking spots blocked off with orange cones. There is no official permit posted to reserve the spots. House adjacent is being renovated and it appears the cones reserve a spot for construction vehicles.

Let me comprehend this: It's a minor inconvenience for your NEIGHBOR that is working to improve his property and by extension the values of all the properties around them. Yet, you have decided to rat them out for a temporary saving of space for construction vehicles in favor of the city levying fines against them?
Good job, neighbor. This is why DC is constantly rated as one of the unfriendliest cities in the country. Maybe next time... try, oh gosh, the horror, talking to them?

Hi @Obnoxious (you are the perfect internet commenter) - In a city where parking is a premium its important that everyone follow the official processes for reserving spaces. A house up the block went through the trouble to do so - so this one can too. Also, it appears this house is being renovated by investors - a total gut job. Your argument is invalid.
And yes @Joda you are correct.
